Our Ballet Intensive (Ages 7–18) offers focused classical training to help dancers strengthen technique, artistry, and overall performance quality.
Acting for dancers bridges the gap between physical movement and emotional storytelling, transforming dancers into compelling characters by integrating acting techniques like character development, voice work, and emotional expression into their movement, enhancing their ability to connect with an audience beyond just choreography. ***ONLY 6 SLOTS PER SESSION
Taught by Artistic Director, Heather Grayberg, this one-day, three-hour intensive is designed to give teen performers the tools and confidence to walk into any audition prepared and professional. Students will learn how to slate with clarity and confidence, maintain focus in the room, and effectively act the song rather than simply sing it. The class also covers essential audition logistics, including clear communication with an accompanist, properly cutting and marking music, and understanding professional audition etiquette. Whether preparing for school shows, summer programs, or regional theatre auditions, students will leave with practical skills they can use immediately.
