Dance & TRiple ThReat COMPANY 2023-2024

Students interested in being a part of our company are required to audition for the divisions of their choosing:

-Ballet/Lyrical

-Jazz

-Contemporary

-Hip Hop

-Tap

-Triple Threat (Train in Acting, Singing, and Dancing)

DANCE ATTIRE:

-Hair in a bun

-Black Leotard and tan, pink, white, or black tights

-A skirt or leotard and tights for ballet

-Jazz shorts, leggings, or pants may be worn for all other disciplines

Bring all shoes with you, as you do not know what will be required.

An exact audition schedule will be given several days prior to the event. Be prepared to stay for the entirety of the audition at the time.

Jr. Company- 2-5pm

S.r Company- 6-9pm

A rubric is forthcoming, as this audition will be adjudicated by non-CCSA staff to promote a fair and unbiased opportunity for all.

TRIPLE THREAT REQUIREMENTS:

-If auditioning for Triple Threat, you will be required to attend the jazz company audition as a placement test for dance classes. Beginners are welcome.

-Please email a headshot, resume, and videos of a one minute monologue and 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song of your choice to info@revival-productions.com by July 9th.

An exact audition schedule will be given several days prior to the event. Be prepared to stay for the entirety of the audition at the time.

Company teams are based on whichever company you audition for and are accepted into. Each company team will perform at least one dance in the competition season (Approximately 4-5 competitions are being planned). 

Company team members are required to enroll in mandatory core instruction classes for their company team category as well as a 1 or 1.5 hour class specifically for company each week where they will work on specific strength and condition exercises, special skills, and competition/special event choreography.

Company team members will pay a monthly tuition fee for company which is applicable for financial aid. Costumes and competitions fees will be paid for at-cost ahead of competition enrollment and are not applicable for financial aid.

Because prices will vary greatly from dancer to dancer based on their personal company team enrollments, we are unable to give exact costs until after auditions. However, below is an example of what enrollment requirements would be required for three company scenarios:

Ballet/Lyrical Company Minimum Enrollment Requirements:

-Core Ballet (1.5 hour class/1 hour for Jr. Company)

-Company Ballet Class (Weekly)

Jazz Company Minimum Enrollment Requirements:

-Core Ballet (1.5 hour class/1 hour for Jr. Company)

-Core Jazz (1.5 hour class)

-Company Jazz Class (Weekly)

Hip Hop Company Minimum Enrollment Requirements:

-Core Hip Hop (1 hour class)

-Company Hip Hop Class (Weekly)

*Competition Fees Vary Based on the Competition. CCSA is dedicated to finding an equitable range of competition costs and offerings. We will also be facilitating fundraisers to offset these at-cost fees for families. We are already scoping possible competitions for the 2023/2024 season and are dedicated to providing families with these deadlines and cost outlines as soon as we are able.

NOTE: Company members will have the option to perform solo, duo, or trio dances at an additional cost. Non-company members are also permitted to compete with CCSA on a case-by-case basis and must be enrolled in at least private dance lessons or core dance classes at CCSA.

Triple Threat Company Receives the following instruction weekly and will additionally attend relevant competitions:

-One 45 minute private voice lesson (Sr.)

-One 30 minute private voice lesson (Jr.)

-Ballet, tap, and jazz core classes (required)

-One 1.5 hour company acting class per week (Sr.)

-One 1 hour company acting class per week (Jr.)

-Contemporary and Hip Hop Classes (Optional At No Additional Cost)

The fee per month for Jr. is $315 (A $113 per month savings)

The fee per month for Sr. is $400 (A $137 per month savings)
